The mission
meetinangola.com is the independent business intelligence and events platform for Angola. We exist because the country’s economic story — its companies, its sectors, its capital markets, its event infrastructure, its reform trajectory — deserves a serious, bilingual, editorially open reference platform that is not owned by any government, any industry, or any vendor.
What we do
This platform covers Angola’s economy across five primary domains:
- The Company Graph — the independent reference directory of meaningful entities operating in Angola, sector-tagged, leadership-mapped, and editorially profiled.
- Sectors — twelve hubs covering the entirety of the Angolan economy, each with regulatory map, top companies, recent news, and entry-point intelligence.
- Insights — independent journalism on Angolan business, finance, regulation, and major events.
- Venues & Events — the planner toolkit for hosting in Angola: venues, logistics, suppliers, and direct RFP capability.
- Why Angola — the case for the country, supported by intelligence the rest of the platform validates.
The disclosure
This platform is independent. It is not affiliated with the Angola Convention Bureau, INFOTUR, the Ministry of Tourism of Angola, or any other government body. We support the work of the official sovereign brands — including the recently launched Meet in Angola — The Meeting Room in Africa initiative — but our editorial position, our commercial structure, and our source materials are independent of all of them.
We believe that strong sovereign marketing benefits from strong independent commercial infrastructure surrounding it. Independent directories, independent journalism, and independent planner tools make destinations more credible to international audiences, not less.
How we make money
The platform is supported by a combination of newsletter sponsorship, sector-specific premium intelligence reports, planner concierge fees, and selective advertising in the venue and supplier directory. We do not take referral commissions on RFP submissions. We do not charge companies to be listed in the directory. We do not gate independent editorial content behind paywalls. The platform is free for users; advertisers and sponsors are clearly disclosed.
