Azule Energy is the 50/50 joint venture between BP and Eni, formed in 2022 to combine the two majors’ Angolan portfolios into Angola’s largest independent E&P company. Azule operates significant production across multiple offshore blocks and is the single largest producer of natural gas in Angola through the New Gas Consortium.
