Luanda

Capital, financial centre, and gateway to Angola — host to the BNA, BODIVA, and most multinationals operating in the country.

Luanda is Angola’s capital and largest city, home to roughly a third of the country’s population. The province is the headquarters of every major regulator, every Tier-1 bank, and the overwhelming majority of multinationals operating in Angola.

Business gateway

Luanda concentrates Angola’s diplomatic missions, the BODIVA capital market, the BNA central bank, and most major conference venues — the Talatona Convention Centre, Centro de Convenções de Talatona, and the new Chicala Convention Centre opening Q1 2027. The Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIA) is the country’s principal international gateway.
